We did it again! From an idea in mind to a reality…I am just so proud of us. We built everything from scratch here…and I mean EVERYTHING. I’m talking cabinet boxes, countertop, shelving, drawer boxes, drawer fronts, and the cabinet doors. What do you think?!
This project was no joke – but like I said, I’m so proud of TJ and I. We even had our kids hop in and help a couple of times. Now we can say, we made this dream living room together!
Cost Breakdown
The number one question asked about this project was “how much did that cost?” So without further ado, here is a break down!
- Plywood and wood: $655
- Baseboards and crown: $90
- Primer, paint, and stains: $100
- Pole Wrap: $80
- Caulk, wood filler, etc: $50
- Cabinet hinges and slides: $75
That’s a total of $1,050. Last time I built these in 2021, I got a quote for $7,500 so I’m guessing it would be more than that now. So not only did I save money, I also get the satisfaction of knowing I BUILT THIS!
